Comeback of the Week:
Detroit Lions@ Minnesota Vikings
If the NFL had games that lasted 2 quarters, then the Minnesota Vikings would be 3-0 on the season. That is not the case since games are 4 quarters long. The Vikings were leading at half time 20-0 against the Detroit Lions and seemed as if they were just going to keep cruising on for the victory. Turns out that the Lions would be the ones that would score 23 unanswered points in the second half to be leading the Vikings 23-20 in the 4th quarter. The game went into overtime and that is where Kicker Jason Hanson would break the 13 game losing streak that the Lions had playing in the Metrodome.
Thus far the Lions have played sound football against teams that they should be winning against and would really have to prove to the rest of the NFL that they belong with the rest of the elite class by beating the Cowboys and Bears in the coming weeks. I do not see the Lions losing if they continue to get better and get that running game going to be extremely dangerous.
